On Wednesday, a ceremony was held in Zagreb to award contracts for the implementation of 30 projects with a total value of HRK 13,661,977.74 approved for co-financing from the European Social Fund. The projects were contracted on the basis of the eighth and ninth Decision on financing under the Call "Strengthening the capacity of CSOs to respond to the needs of the local community".
On the basis of the eighth Decision on financing, the implementation of 9 projects with a total value of HRK 4,037,404.07 was contracted, and on the basis of the ninth Decision on financing, 21 projects with a total value of HRK 9,624,573.67 were contracted.
The signatories of the contract were greeted by representatives of the Intermediary Bodies: Helena Beus, Director of the Office for Associations, Luka Bogdan, Deputy Director of the National Foundation for the Civil Society Development, and Špiro Janović, State Secretary in the Ministry of Veterans. Marko Pavić, a member of the Croatian Parliament and president of the Committee for Regional Development and Funds of the European Union, attended the ceremony and greeted the signatories.
According to Luka Bogdan, this call has a total value of HRK 120 million, they will contract projects that contribute to building the capacity of civil society organizations to deal with crisis situations, as well as organizing activities that provide citizens with services of general interest to help make Croatia a real a good place for a quality life.
