In 2025, Croatia is celebrating the milestone 30th European Heritage Days, an event that honors the diversity, richness, and value of cultural heritage. This year, more than 96 events will be held in 53 locations across the country, organized by 104 cultural institutions. The theme of this year's European Heritage Days is “Architectural Heritage: A Window to the Past, a View to the Future”, emphasizing the importance of architectural heritage for the identity and cultural development of communities.
Cultural heritage plays a key role in shaping a shared European identity and the everyday lives of citizens. The European Union highlights its importance as a foundation for identity and sustainable development and promotes innovative and environmentally friendly approaches to its preservation, linking the past and the future while strengthening creativity and unity.
As part of the event, the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, as the National Contact Point for the CERV Programme, in cooperation with the Creative Europe Desk – Culture and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (AMPEU), is organizing a webinar entitled “EU Programmes for the Preservation and Development of European Cultural Heritage”.
The webinar will be held on October 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and will provide information on funding opportunities for projects through four main European Union programmes: Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV), Creative Europe, Horizon Europe, and Erasmus+. During the webinar, available calls for proposals, application guidelines, and examples of good practices in the field of cultural heritage preservation and development will be presented.
Prior registration is required to participate in the webinar via the online form.
