Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) has published the World Giving Index, one of the largest studies on giving and charity.
The study provides a better understanding of how people engage in social networks of activities for the benefit of their communities and offers unique insight into larger global trends, advocating for the growth of global giving.
Some of the key findings from the report include:
- Worldwide, 4.3 billion people helped someone they didn’t know, volunteered, or donated their time and money for a good cause;
- For the seventh consecutive year, Indonesia was ranked as the most generous nation in the world, with Kenya in second and Singapore in third place;
- As many as 75 countries have seen a rise in their generosity ranking, including Croatia.
