The European Parliament and the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen invite young Europeans aged 16 to 30 to submit their projects for the European Charlemagne Youth Prize. Awards are given to youth‑led projects that promote active citizenship, strengthen cohesion in local and European communities, and support democracy. The aim of this call is to recognise youth initiatives that contribute to shaping a shared European future and to encourage inclusion and cooperation among young people from different European Union member states.
The most successful projects can win financial support of up to €7,500, giving young people not only the opportunity for their work to be recognised at a European level but also to further develop their project both locally and beyond.
The organisers of the award are the European Parliament and the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen, who together promote the objectives of the prize and provide a platform for young people to exchange ideas, experiences and innovative approaches to social initiatives.
The deadline for submission is 2 February 2026, and instructions and more information are available at the link.
