The Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for Dialogue between Cultures “Anna Lindh” (ALF) has published a Call for the submission of proposals for cultural and artistic activities to be held as part of the AgorALF 2026 forum, on 27 and 28 April 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus.
AgorALF is a new annual gathering inspired by the success of ALForum 2025, one of the largest Euro-Mediterranean forums of civil society, culture, and dialogue. The aim of AgorALF is to continue strengthening intercultural dialogue, cooperation, and people-to-people connections through culture and creative practices across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
Within the published Call, it is possible to apply with two types of activities:
-
Networking activities (indoor)
Interactive formats lasting 45 minutes, such as networking activities, participatory installations, or other forms that encourage meeting and exchange among participants. -
Cultural and artistic activities (indoor and/or outdoor)
Performances, workshops, participatory artistic actions, installations, or other creative activities lasting between 45 and 60 minutes that highlight the role of culture in social cohesion, inclusivity, and shared learning.
Activities should promote dialogue, mutual understanding, and connection among participants from different cultural and social contexts. Civil society organizations, cultural groups, and affiliated artists from one of the 43 Euro-Mediterranean countries are eligible to apply. Applicants should have experience in organizing cultural, artistic, or networking activities.
Selected proposals will be supported through financial support, the amount of which depends on the scope of the proposed activity. Support may amount to up to EUR 3,000 for small-scale activities, or between EUR 3,000 and EUR 6,000 for medium-scale activities. The granted funds are intended to cover international travel costs, accommodation, local transport and meals, as well as artists’ or activity facilitators’ fees.
In addition to financial support, selected participants will have the opportunity to connect with more than 400 participants and stakeholders from across the Euro-Mediterranean region, including representatives of civil society, the cultural sector, and international networks.
The deadline for submission of applications is 1 February 2026, while the announcement of selection results is planned for 22 February 2026.
