The Intercultural Achievement Award (IAA) is a key project for intercultural and interreligious dialogue of the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs. The award recognizes successful and innovative projects in the field of intercultural and interreligious dialogue, both in Austria and globally.
IAA promotes intercultural and interreligious projects in the areas of arts, culture, youth, human rights, global citizenship education, integration, and gender equality. Projects should be ongoing or already completed.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to non-profit organizations (associations, foundations, charitable educational institutions, or religious organizations) and for-profit organizations. Individual applications from members of civil society organizations are also acceptable. Applications from government, scientific, research, and international institutions and services are not eligible.
Awards will be granted in 5 categories with amounts of 6,000 and 10,000 euros, and the final deadline for applications is March 17, 2024.
