Last year, the National Foundation for Civil Society Development in cooperation with the European Foundation for Philanthropy and Society Development rewarded 5 (five) schools from Zadar for their joint initiative to develop philanthropy in the community, which was prompted by their participation in the Philanthropy Week 2017.
Pupils from Petar Preradović Elementary School, Šime Budinić Elementary School, Stanovi Elementary School, St. Phillip and Jacob Elementary School and Pope John Paul II Classical Grammar School jointly designed a picture book dealing with basic human values in the framework of this initiative. The pupils, together with their teachers/mentors, presented the picture book in the Rector’s Palace in Zadar and left an impression of kindness on those who came to support them through their recitals, choir performances and exhibition of paintings.
