The Government of the Republic of Croatia has initiated a procedure to include representatives of civil society organizations in the work of the Commission on Addictions and Behavioral Addictions. The procedure was launched following amendments to the Decision on the Establishment of this body, adopted at a Government session in early September last year.
The Commission plays a key role in:

coordinating the activities of state authorities in the field of prevention and suppression of addictions

coordinating measures related to drug abuse and other forms of addiction, including behavioral addictions

monitoring and adopting programs implemented by the competent ministries
-
proposing and defining preventive measures and resocialization measures at the national level
The right to nominate candidates is granted to organizations active in the field of combating addiction. The deadline for submitting proposals is 2 March 2026, and applications must be submitted using the prescribed form. More information about the application procedure is available at the link.
