The training sessions for civil society organizations within the Regional Development Program are commencing

The National Foundation for Civil Society Development has, since 2007, through programmatic cooperation with 5 specialized organizations Association MI, Split; SMART Association for Civil Society Development, Rijeka; Dkolektiv - Organization for Social Development, Osijek; Center for Civil Initiatives, Zagreb; and ACT Group, Čakovec; implemented the Program for regional development to strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations in the regions of Dalmatia, Central Croatia, Northwest Croatia, and Western and Eastern Croatia.

The program focuses on providing information, consulting, and education to civil society organizations to contribute to their professionalization and success through collaboration with the National Foundation for Civil Society Development.

The Training Calendar provides insights into upcoming trainings in the first quarter of 2024 aimed at strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations and is available for download HERE.

In this regard, applications are open for training sessions on the topics: 'Quality System in Civil Society Organizations with Examples of Effective Management Models' and 'How to Develop a Strategic and Operational Plan for Civil Society Organizations and 'Advocacy Models for Positive Changes in Local Communities'.

By providing systematic support in the field of information, consulting, and education at local and regional levels, the National Foundation contributes to harmonizing regional development and the capacities of civil society organizations.

By the end of 2024, the following training/workshop programs will be covered:

  • Project Cycle Management and Needs Assessment in the Local Community
  • Volunteer Management
  • Quality System in Civil Society Organizations with Examples of Effective Management Models
  • Ensuring Quality Implementation of Projects Funded from Public Sources
  • Innovative Fundraising Models for Civil Society Organizations
  • Advocacy Models for Positive Changes in Local Communities
  • Citizen Engagement Models in the Work of Civil Society Organizations
  • How to Develop a Strategic and Operational Plan for Civil Society Organizations
  • Development of Social Capital in the Local Community and Models of Partnership/Collaboration of Civil Society Organizations in the Community
  • Models of Internal and External Evaluation of the Work/Programs of Civil Society Organizations

Participation in training/workshop programs for all civil society organizations is free of charge with mandatory prior registration for each individual training.
