Working Meeting Held in Zadar as Part of the iM:PACT – Innovations for the Mediterranean and Community Potentials Programme

On Tuesday, 16 June 2026, a working meeting was held at IMPACT – the European Centre for Cross-Sectoral Cooperation for Sustainable Development in Zadar as part of the international programme iM:PACT - Innovations for the Mediterranean, focusing on programme activities and the development of local communities across the Mediterranean region.

The meeting brought together programme partners and representatives of local communities participating in the “Community Potentials” programme, with the aim of exchanging experiences, presenting activities and results achieved to date, and strengthening opportunities for future cooperation at both national and international levels.

The first part of the programme was dedicated to a workshop with iM:PACT programme partners on the implementation of programme activities.

The programme continued with a presentation of Domvalo, an innovative care programme for older adults, presented by Zoran Puljić, Director of the Mozaik Foundation and a social entrepreneur recognized within the Schwab Foundation and the World Economic Forum network. The presentation opened important discussions on new models of care, social innovation, and the role of communities in responding to the needs of older persons.

A special segment of the meeting was devoted to the presentation of local communities participating in the “Community Potentials” programme. Representatives of Biograd, Drniš, Duga Resa, Karlovac, Pag, Slunj, Šibenik, and Zadar presented their activities, achievements, and development priorities. The presentations highlighted the diversity of local needs, while also demonstrating a shared commitment to inclusive and sustainable community development.

The final part of the programme featured presentations of programme partners and opportunities for further cooperation within the iM:PACT programme. The working meeting concluded with an overview of upcoming activities and events, emphasizing continued collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the strengthening of partnerships that contribute to the development of local communities across the Mediterranean region.
