The National Foundation for Civil Society Development acts as the national coordinator of the Croatian Network for Cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean, which in its first year of operation was included in the work of the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF). This made the National Foundation since 200+the official representative of ALF in the Republic of Croatia, connecting civil society organizations, educational institutions, research centres, and other stakeholders active in the field of intercultural dialogue in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

By participating in the Croatian Network for Cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean of Anna Lindh Foundation, Croatian civil society organizations become part of a broad regional platform that brings together thousands of organizations from Europe and the southern Mediterranean. Through this network of national networks of civil society organizations, the exchange of knowledge, international cooperation, and the development of projects aimed at strengthening mutual understanding, democratic values, and social inclusion are encouraged.

Within the framework of the network’s activities, civil society organizations have access to various opportunities for participation, ranging from international projects and partnerships to training, exchange of experiences, and involvement in regional initiatives that promote intercultural dialogue.

A particularly important aspect of the network’s work relates to the participation of organizations in international calls and support programs published by the Anna Lindh Foundation. As ALF Head of Network, the National Foundation provides information, networking, and support to organizations in Croatia that wish to participate in the activities of the Anna Lindh Foundation and develop cooperation with partners from the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Through this cooperation, contributions are made to strengthening intercultural dialogue, social cohesion, and active citizenship in Croatia and across the wider Euro-Mediterranean region.
