The i3.0 Strategic Partnership is designed to foster innovative approaches and collaboration in local communities, strengthening the capacities and resilience of civil society organizations and other stakeholders in local communities in Croatia. Through strategic partnerships, stakeholders, citizens and local communities come together to develop new methods, tools, and models of work that contribute to sustainable local and regional development.
Programme Objectives
i3.0 focuses on:

promoting international and cross-sectoral cooperation between civil society organizations, local authorities, and educational institutions;

developing innovative approaches to addressing social challenges, from education and inclusion to social innovation and participatory decision-making;

strengthening capacities and resilience of local communities and their stakeholders through the knowledge transfer, experience, and good practices;

ensuring sustainable solutions that can deliver long-term benefits to local communities.
How the Partnership Works
The partnership enables partners to:

co-design and test new working methods and tools for local communities;

operate within local communities in their specific area of society development;

exchange experience and knowledge through workshops and international meetings.
Results and Achievements
Through the i3.0 Strategic Partnership:

partnerships have been established between foundations, public institutions, and private sector organizations from Croatia, Italy, and South Africa;

community actions have been implemented in 8 local communities in Croatia, improving quality of life and increasing civic participation;
-
new tools and educational modules have been developed to support citizens in engaging in programmes, projects, or initiatives aimed at local community development, including those they initiate themselves;
-
increased visibility and networking opportunities have been enabled for both younger and older citizens from local communities across Croatia.
