From 2003 to 2023, through 105 tenders and 73 calls for expressions of interest, the National Foundation approved 6.224 financial supports to civil society organizations, i.e. invested € 99.341.859,79 in civic initiatives/actions, projects, collaborations, and programs and institutional support for organizations civil society, cooperation programs and programs of decentralization of financial support, regional development and knowledge centers for social development.

Thanks to these financial supports, 18.191 people (men and women) were employed and the involvement of over 356.200 volunteers was enabled .

In addition, the National Foundation awarded 136 awards , 144 scholarships for representatives of civil society organizations and supported the implementation of 134 researches, holding numerous conferences, round tables, consultations publishing books, publications, portals, internet services, newsletters .

Through numerous European and international funds and programs, the National Foundation encouraged the possibility of obtaining financial support and inter-financing and pre-financing of approved projects financed from EU funds, and finally, but equally important, it encouraged the networking of civil society organizations both at the European and international level, and at area of Croatia. Because only a networked, active and effective civil society can meet the purpose of its activities, which is to become a pledge of a fair, empathetic, modern democratic society.
