On February 15, 2024, an online workshop was held as part of the 3P4SSE project - Public-Private Partnership for Social and Solidarity Economy, financed through the Interreg Central Europe program. The aim was to establish a common strategy, priorities, and instruments to promote local action plans developed within the project. These plans are aimed at introducing social entrepreneurship models in the participating regions to reduce socio-economic disparities among European Union members in Central Europe. Achieving this project goal is planned through advocating multi-level governance frameworks based on public-private partnerships.
During the workshop, representatives of the National Foundation, together with project partners from other countries, reported on the results of previously held workshops with local stakeholders, including drafts of local action plans for establishing socially solidarity economies based on public-private partnerships. The workshops identified challenges related to the development of social and solidarity economy and strategies to address these issues, taking into account local needs and specificities.
The next steps in the project include ratifying the common strategy among partners at upcoming meetings and implementing concrete actions to execute local action plans, laying the groundwork for positive socio-economic changes.
