Organized by the LINKS Foundation, from March 26 to 27, 2024, Turin hosted a two-day meeting related to the 3P4SSE project, supported within the framework of the Interreg Central Europe Operational Program.
During the first day, a meeting of all project partners was held, where the project's results to date were presented, a comprehensive overview of communication activities was provided, and a discussion was conducted on upcoming tasks related to the development of the International Strategy for Social and Solidarity Economy in Central Europe.
On the second day, a conference was held at the University of Carlo Alberto, opened by the Executive Director of the LINKS Foundation, Mr. Stefano Buscaglia, followed by a detailed presentation on social and solidarity economy by Mr. Luciano Galetti from the Autonomous Province of Trento.
The conference included two panel discussions. The first was related to regional development and the creation of social clusters with insights from Mr. Jacopo Sforzi from the EURICSE organization and Mr. Marcello Bogetti from the SAA School of Management, while the Director of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, Ms. Cvjetana Plavša-Matić, provided an overview of the Foundation's contribution to the development of the social economy in the Republic of Croatia over the past 20 years. The second panel discussion focused on the legal frameworks of the social economy, with experiences from Slovenia and Italy presented by Ms. Urška Bitenc from the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia and Mr. Luigi Bobba from the TERZJUS Foundation.
Concluding remarks were given by Mr. Marco Valle from the LINKS Foundation, summarizing the rich discussion and insights gathered during the conference, while the partners' meeting within the 3P4SSE project provided a diverse range of perspectives, united in the effort to improve the social and solidarity economy at both regional and European levels.
