A workshop dedicated to the development of the Local Action Plan for Social and Solidarity Economy in the Split-Dalmatia County was held in Split

Today, on September 3, 2024, a workshop dedicated to the development of the Local Action Plan for Social and Solidarity Economy in the Split-Dalmatia County was held in Split, organized within the framework of the 3P4SSE project, which is being implemented as part of the Interreg Central Europe Operational Programme.

The workshop was opened by Ms. Cvjetana Plavša-Matić, Director of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, and Mr. Anđelko Katavić, Head of the Department for Economy, EU Funds, and Agriculture of the Split-Dalmatia County. In their opening speeches, the project’s goals were explained, emphasizing the key role of social and solidarity economy in fostering digital and green transformation, reducing social inequalities, and strengthening the sustainability and resilience of local communities.

The workshop gathered numerous local stakeholders, including representatives of civil society organizations, LAGs, companies, and institutions, who, together with project partners, engaged in a moderated discussion about establishing a sustainable support model for promoting social and solidarity economy, as well as further development and increasing its visibility in the Split-Dalmatia County.
